This course helps students understand how secondary English curricular content and evaluation are implemented by looking into the 2011 revised National English Curriculum (NEC). In doing so, students will carefully examine the framework of NEC to know objectives and direction of secondary English education and relevant teaching and learning methods based on NEC. They will also look into how curricular content is developed and utilized to teaching language forms and culture as well as four skills meet students different levels. Then, they will also examine the goals of evaluation based on SEC and some key priciples and criteria of developing assessment tools in their own context. They will also examine the newly developing NEAT in a thorough manner by analyzing existing test formats and engaging in test writing practices in this course. As a result, students will understand the macro planning and implementation of the secondary English teaching and micro practices to meet local needs
