Fluid flow is crucially important in shaping the world around us, and its full understanding remains one of great challenges in physics and engineering. All life-sustaining bodiely functions involve fluid flow and engineering applications understanding fluid flow is necessary for the design of aircraft, ships, cars, propulsion devices and so on. In this course, we apply the principles of dynamics and thermodynamics to the motion of fluids, and develop equations to describe the conservation of mass, momentum, and energy.
