This course introduces students to principles of interpersonal communication and public speaking techniques. Skills in developing speaking abilities and confidence in oral presentations will be covered. Students are expected to participate in class discussions and to deliver a variety of speeches: informative, demonstration, impromptu, and persuasive. Students will participate as an audience to those delivering speeches.
