Fluid dynamics is governed by a set of time-dependent partial differential equations (PDEs) which has hyperbolic as well as parabolic nature. There are various numerical schemes proposed for solving these equations. We start with the basic features of PDEs, then learn typical schemes of computational fluid dynamics (CFD). We then study the method of increasing accuracy of CFD schemes where the estimate of numerical flux is an important issue. A practical training such as writing numerical codes and running them is also planned.
