The rapid growth of multimedia technologies such as the Internet, e-mail and digital television is widely seen as a digital renaissance heralding a new `information age`. We will study the multimedia as a new media on this class. The multimedia was reveled as a media convergence in the information society. In this circumstance, we will study new media and old media as well. It is helpful to do this to gain an understanding of the characteristic in the multimedia. I hope that this class’ student gain the understanding of the multimedia which is the powerful media in the information soceity.
