The morphology and function of organisms in earth are very diverse. However, their cells share many characteristics in common. In the cell biology class, students who major in biology will be given the information to understand the basic concepts of cell biology and the opportunity to learn the essential basic techniques such as preparing biological buffers, performing PCR and observing cellular specimen under the microscopes.
