It is a design class to apply radiation detection theory to engineering practice. This course focuses on acquisition of basic theory of radiation detector systems by radiation type and detector type, simulation of radiation detector system using radiation transport computer codes, and design of radiation detector system based on the acquired radiation detector theory and radiation transport computer simulation for application to nuclear energy, radiological sciences, radiation protection, health physics, medical physics and imaging, and industrial safety and control system
