This course presents the cellular and molecular levels of animal development with emphasis on processes including fertilization, cleavage, gastrulation and organogenesis, and the underlying mechanism. The current techniques for the study of development and the major model system were covered as well. This course provides the basic principle for animal development and tissue differentiation and their application on research area.
