Students will be exposed to many key ideas for linguistics and guided to internalize them to be able to analyze English data given: they are supposed to start toddling as a baby linguist.
Students are expected
1) get familiar with what linguistics is about.
2) get familiar with foundational ideas and concepts for linguistics.
3) apply those ideas to English data.
4) guide students to keep constant attention on their language life.
