영문법(1) 수업과 함께 영문법(2) 수업은 학생들에게 영어문법에 대한 전반적인 이해를 제공하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 영문법(2) 수업에서는 단어의 품사유형에서 확장된 명사절, 형용사절, 부사절, 부정사구, 동명사구, 분사구 등에 대한 기본 개념과 그 활용방법을 집중적으로 학습한다. 아울러 문장을 다양하게 표현할 수 있는 능동태와 수동태, 직설법과 가정법의 주요한 용법들을 숙지하여 영어 글에서나 말에서 올바른 영어문장을 사용할 수 있도록 한다.
This course will provide students with comprehensive knowledge of English grammar. The course will discuss the basic concepts and major topics in English grammar, including three kinds of clauses, infinitives, gerunds, participles, passives, and conditional sentences. Students are supposed to read and make a presentation of the assigned reading material(s). Tests will be given frequently to enhance students’ ability in English grammar.
